⚠️ Safety Notice: Scuba Cylinder Filling Policy ⚠️

To all our customers, we want to give you a quick heads-up regarding our strict safety protocols for filling diving cylinders.

We cannot fill any cylinder that does not have a valid, verifiable IDEST test stamp/sticker from a currently registered test station.

Why we are flagging this:
We have recently seen cylinders brought in with conflicting markings—specifically, tanks featuring both an older hydrostatic test label and a green visual test label.
While we appreciate the effort to keep equipment serviced, the green visual labels do not contain valid IDEST credentials. According to our filling policy, a cylinder must have one or the other fully validated:
A current, valid Hydrostatic Test (with a proper IDEST stamp and sticker).

A current, valid IDEST Visual Inspection (with a proper IDEST sticker).

The Bottom Line: If your cylinder only has a generic green visual label without official IDEST credentials, it does not comply with our safety policy, and our team will not be able to fill it.

What should you do?
Before you head over for a fill, please double-check your cylinder's neck/labeling. If your IDEST inspection has lapsed, or if you only have a non-credentialed green label, you will need to get the tank properly tested at an authorised IDEST test station first.

Safety is always our number one priority—for our staff, for you, and for everyone.

🌊 Snails, Scales, and Sea Slugs! 🐌✨
Nicolé and I spent an incredible day diving into the magic of the 10th Anniversary Scottish Nudibranch Festival in Eyemouth!
Who knew the cold waters off the southeast coast of Scotland could hide such vibrant, tropical-level colors? Getting our eyes in to spot these tiny, brilliant "gems of the sea" was half the fun. We spent the day:
Hunting for macro-wonders among the kelp forests and anemone patches (rhinophores at the ready!).
Marveling at the marine life under digital microscopes back at the base.
Geeking out with fellow ocean lovers and hearing amazing lectures from local nudibranch experts.
From crystal tips to fluffy Acanthodoris pilosa, Scotland's underwater world absolutely showed off for the big double-digit anniversary. Cheers to 10 years of celebrating the ultimate sea slugs! 🥂🎒
