Normal service is resumed tonight, and the end of the season looms large next week.
Or I need the rest. Perth, Edinburgh, Megafinals and the Scottish Championships all in my summer "break". How will yours look?
Maybe see you at one of those. Extra grumpiness gauranteed.
See you tonight, still time for a quick look at the chess thing.
All welcome.

No club tonight as other commitments and lack of volunteers at this time of year takes it's toll.
On the plus side, ......no, I have nothing. Back to normal next week with all the usuals.
See you then.

Into the last month of the season with no more interruptions from league matches. That'll be nice.
So the usual tonight and whilst there is not a lot of time left in the season trying out chess is always the best decision.
All welcome and free tuition.

A 5-1 win to end the season in 2nd place in the Ayrshire League Division 1. Which was nice, All this year's home league games on the clicky below, shame no other club in Ayrshire does this.
Error

The first team play tonight so no room for us normal players. Back to normal next week.
Jamie Malkin of our club won the Ayrshire Individual Championship this season, beating Elliot Frew, also of Kilmarnock, in a play-off.
May the 7th at Troon hosting the Samuel Graham blitz, which we hold so hoping to retain that.
See you next week for more fun and frolics.
21/04/2026
Usual night tonight with the added bonus of the Ayrshire Championship play-offs having reached the Quickplay part of the process.
So that will be decided tonight, preferably before midnight unlike last week.
So business as usual for the rest of us, see you therre.
All welcome and free tution.

All the usual chess stuff tonight with the tuition and playing and sighing and whying.
Not whining, definitely whying.
Summer break is on the horizon so not long left this season to see if you would actually like this challenging game.
You probably would, honest, come and try it.

And just like that we are 7 meets away from the "summer" shutdown.
So if you fancy a wee shot at chess not too long left in the season.
All welcome to come and have a go.
Unless you're on an Easter holiday and didn't make arrangements to come back for tonight.
See you there,

We are on as usual tonight with all the chess stuff to be had.
No reason to watch any sort of football thing, it's only a friendly and we all saw how the last one went.
All welcome as usual and free tuition as well, what's not to like?
See you there.
