Read carefully: These rules focus on preventing and managing skin infections related to BJJ training.
Clean Gear β Wash your gi, rash guard, shorts, and gym bag after every session.
Shower After Training β Use soap and focus on areas prone to infection.
Cover Cuts β Apply a waterproof bandage before stepping on the mats.
Skin Check β Inspect for redness, rashes, or swelling; report concerns to an instructor.
Trim Nails & Wash Hands β Keep nails short to avoid scratches and wash hands before and after training.
Infections β Stay off the mats until fully cleared. Check with an instructor before returning.
Report Issues β Immediately notify staff if you notice infection symptoms.
Stay Informed β Learn about skin infections in BJJ and hygiene best practices to keep everyone safe.
Shoes & Mats β No shoes past the hazard line; no bare feet before it.
Weights Room β Shoes required; barefoot or socks-only lifting is not permitted.
Mat Hygiene β Mats are disinfected daily.
