We decided to take on a game during oor break n by gosh we almost paid a price fur it😩
Blacks off tae a flyer with a well worked break away 5 min in, up 0-1..
Everyone apart from the gaffer didn’t seem to stress n fur the full first half kept knockin oan the door but to no avail…
2nd half saw couple wee changes n after the 1st wan went in they kept comin👌🏼

New kid McNamara also netting nicely from the spot⚽️.

Special shout outs tae our keeps Mark Sneddon with a topper of a save first half and a great through ball which resulted in a wee assist😍. And Chris Thornhill makin his return from a shoulder operation with a wee drive n assist tae his name👏🏼.

6 Ayrshire crews entered n only 3 prevail 👏🏼 n us Temple boys be one 🙌🏼🔥.
Glasgow Premier side Haldane came to the Shire this week n game didn’t disappoint 🫱🏻‍🫲🏼.
Goals from Reid⚽️ (standard) and Hislop⚽️ saw Temple take a first half command💪🏼
2nd half n with the hosts being stacked this year, all subs were made which allowed pressure to remain high n create chances, Morgan n Gibb gettin into great positions n unlucky not to make it 4.

An absolute graft for the 12 available n gaffer who hud tae fling the boots oan fur this wan. Northside always full of quality so ye must be on yer toes while facing them, but the lads didn’t disappoint, great shape n graft, shame to lose a goal due to a mish*t cross😩.
Special shout outs to J Lundie, G Stewart n A Gibson who were exceptional at the back tonight keeping Mullen n co quiet 👏🏼💪🏼

Wouldn’t be Templetonburn FC if we didn’t give ourselves an uphill struggle at the start of the season😂…. Doon a man n doon 2-0 due to a couple o howling mistakes🤦🏻‍♂️. Dylan Connelly. Where to start, came in start of season, took the reigns due to gaffer being a dafty. N man managed the lads like he’d been doing it fur years. Changed up formations, made the correct subs at the correct times. N put up with baby’s flinging toys oot the prams👍🏼 can’t thank ma pal enough fur this seasons efforts ❤️
