⚽️⛳ Match Result | Alba v Glasgow East End ⛳⚽️

The final game of our league season was a must win, while also hoping the result went our way in the Glasgow v Ayrshire match. Thankfully it did, which means we can still win the league if Glasgow East End beat Ayrshire on 18th October. 👀🔥

After the strokeplay, Alba held a big 83–32 lead, meaning we only needed to win one of the three matchplays to secure the overall victory.

GEE fielded a very strong matchplay line-up, but Jonathan McClymont delivered when it mattered, beating Martin McGreechin 3&2. The other two ties went GEE’s way, but Jonathan’s win was enough to get us over the line.

🔴 Final Score: Alba 120 – 113 Glasgow East End 🔵

A massive win to finish our season and keep the title dream alive!

⚽️⛳ MATCH RESULT | Alba Footgolf Club v Ayrshire Footgolf Club ⛳⚽️

📊 Final Score
🔴 Alba FootGolf Club 70.5 – 165.5 Ayrshire FootGolf Club 🔵

A tough one for Alba today, with Ayrshire deservedly taking the points in the end 👏

After the strokeplay, we trailed by just 8 points at 54–62, with special mentions to Freya McDonald and Martin Johnston for their performances.

That meant there was still everything to play for going into the matchplay, but Ayrshire finished strongly, taking it 3½ – ½.

The result blows the West Division wide open and sets up a very exciting finish to the season! 🔥

A huge well done to everyone who represented Alba today, and thanks to Ayrshire for a great game 👏
