We are based at Caprington Community Golf Club in Kilmarnock and compete in the FootGolf Association of Scotland Club League.

The Individual World Cup has now concluded, with Rory Cassidy finishing 155th out of more than 400 players and as the 4th highest Scottish male player at the tournament.

As Rory put it:

“Managed to finish as the 4th highest of the men representing Scotland, which I’d have bitten your hand off for before I came.”

Rory now joins fellow Ayrshire player David “Quigs” Quigley in representing Scotland in the Team World Cup in Mexico.

Good luck to the five Ayrshire players heading down to Wales this weekend to represent FootGolf Association of Scotland in the Four Nations against FootGolf Association of England, FootGolf Association of Wales and FootGolf Association of Ireland! 🙏🏻

David Quigley, Christopher Mcewan and Rory Cassidy will compete in the men's section, Shona Mathie is turning out for the ladies, and Robert Clark is playing as a Senior +. 💪🏻

John Grant appointed Scotland Development Squad Captain 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⚽️⛳️

A massive congratulations to John Grant on being appointed Captain of the Scotland Development Squad for 2026 👏

After serving as Ayrshire FootGolf Club captain for the last 3 years, John now steps into this new national role — a fully deserved appointment and a proud moment for the club.

As Ayrshire captain, John led the club to:

🏆 Scottish Club League Champions — 2023, 2024, 2025
🏆 Scottish Tour Cup Winners — 2024
🌍 Top 4 in Europe
🌎 6th in the World (2025)

John’s leadership, experience and standards have played a huge part in Ayrshire’s success, and we’re delighted to see him take that into the Scotland Development setup.
