European vet&farrier conference cpd weekend.

Some work carried out several months on this mare who had a Bone sequestrum which wasn't able to be operated on due to the area it was within the hoof capsule. Vet had requested heartbars fitted with larger clips to stabilise the hoof capsule throughout recovery. Horse is now back in full work due to brilliant aftercare from her owner.

Half heartbar made and fitted on site for horse needing medial (inside) support. Horse was landing heavy on the lateral (outside) causing crushing to medial heel.

Some added support is all that's needed at times

Another use of the new 3d pads this week fitted to an everyday riding horses hind feet. This horse was previously shod (by me) with graduated leather pads and impression material. However noticed the leather pad was yeilding under frog pressure so hoping for better results with more positive frog pressure these new pads provide 👍🐎🐴
