ποΈββοΈ Ever wanted to make the calls?
Become a Technical Official for FREE! ποΈββοΈ
Do you watch weightlifting and think, "I would have judged that lift differently"?
Now is your chance to get in the best seat in the house and make it happen.
We are offering our Olympic Weightlifting Technical Officials course as a fully refundable opportunity!
Being a TO is about so much more than "hitting buttons."
It's vital roles in progressing the sport you love.
What does a Technical Official actually do?
Every single lifting group at a competition needs a full TO team to run safely and smoothly:
β
3 Referees
β
An Announcer
β
A Timekeeper
β
Laptop Operator
β
A Marshall
We also need TOs for weigh-ins! If you have ever been frustrated by having a very early weigh-in for a late lifting slot, the answer is more officials.
Ideally, we need 2 officials per group just to handle weigh-ins.
More TOs mean more flexible weigh-in times for athletes.
Here is how it works:
π§ Get in touch with us (message or email)
π³ Pay Β£30 to register.
βοΈ Complete the course.
π° Get your Β£30 returned!
Once you pass, full training, support, and help are provided.
If you have been waiting for the right time to get involved, this is it.
Come give it a go, support your fellow athletes, and take the pressure off the existing volunteers who keep the sport moving.
