Who likes chickpeas?🤔

Chickpeas are an excellent and cheap food source that contain lots of benefits for your body.

Here are some benefits about chickpeas

▪️An excellent source of iron
▪️Great source of fibre and protein
▪️Can lower blood pressure and cholesterol
▪️Good source of magnesium

There are many other benefits out there too.

They are a versatile food you can serve in many different ways such as adding in to pasta/curry dishes, roasting to make a healthy snack or most recently I tried baking chickpea brownies which were lovely too!😍

STOP ✋

I’ve seen so many people over the years making the same old excuses about how they want to lose weight or change their lifestyle and complain about how it never happens..

I am urging you to stop making the following excuses..

▪️”I don’t have time” - if you have enough time to scroll through your phone for minimum 20 mins a day you have enough time to do some basic exercise at home - the choice is yours..

▪️”I don’t have childcare” - myself including many other gyms/fitness facilities/personal trainers allow children to attend classes or sessions with you for this very reason. Make fitness fun for all the family and set an example.

▪️”I have no energy” - exercise releases endorphins which give you a natural energy boost so get up off the sofa and do some squats infront of tv instead!

▪️”I don’t have time to make healthy meals” - there are loads of meal prep companies that now pre make meals and can deliver them to your door at a fraction of the cost of ultra processed foods. Making simple swaps from ultra processed to less processed foods will also help massively with your overall health and wellbeing without it costing you much of a difference.

▪️”I have no money” - you can get outside for walk for free, there is exercise videos online every where you look you just have to search for them.

Vicki started classes a couple of months ago and is now consistently doing 2 LBT classes a week.

She always comes with a buzz of energy and enthusiasm and regularly tries the more difficult options in class.

This one goes to Isabel.

Isabel started about 6 weeks ago as a complete beginner to exercise.

She started with 1-1 personal training and now takes part in circuit and bootcamp classes too.

She now is losing cm’s, feeling fitter and actually enjoying exercise, despite being skeptical at first!

She’s came a long way in a few weeks and I look forward to continuing to support her on the journey💜

Great soft play for little ones, support local!

A little serious post for today 🥲

As many of you will know the regeneration works in Lennoxtown has affected me terribly.

It has been a real struggle to get through the last 6 months!

I pride myself on always being open and honest with you all, and I honestly don't know where I will be in a few months time.

As a very small business, with constant rising costs across the board it's scary.

I will of course fight until the bitter end for my wee business!

If I could ask you all to, where you can, share, like and comment on any social media posts - It really helps me out!

Of course I would love to see you all as much as you can comfortably afford to visit - I know things are hard for everyone!

And to everyone who supports me and has done in the past Thank you ❤
