Miniature Donkeys for Therapy and Fun

When josie arrives on her travels with the age concern bus into the field
She nearly slipped a donkey on board

Lovely walks in the country side yesterday
Walks morning and afternoon between the showers
Everyone had a great time
Then fun times in the evening the Brownies came along learning caring for a donkey or pony.
All excited pooo pickers made a brilliant job of the field . Grooming each donkey and pony
Then feeding the evening feed to the donkeys .
Everyone really had a great time
So did myself and Harry was lovely to see all these enthusiastic children .

An afternoon at the independent living centre at Holt community Hub
This was a great afternoon so much excitement when the donkeys arrived
The young adults had been making rosettes in the morning for the donkeys .When the donkeys arrived they were singing a donkey song
Seeing how these young adults came out of being worried and started to interact with the animals by walking feeding and cuddling the donkeys
The donkeys were so calm did everything for the people no hesitation I am was so proud. A great interaction between animals and young adults .
This is when I love doing all this work .

This morning when you reach the field early they resting

Well our donkeys are having a well earned break this weekend
Just one walk tommorrow and the weekend just chilling
It's not us at Holt the weekend its the Suffolk donks
Ours are next week in holt at wellbeing centre on Monday

Early start this morning at the field at 6.30am getting the donkeys ready for a full day at the forum
They were a real hit even with the terrible weather.
They were nice and dry in there gazebo we were soaked at times

Sunday we will be at Harpley open gardens .come meet the donkeys .
