Recently, I met with officials from the Fenland Water Ski Club and local Parish and Borough Councillors at the Ski Club’s base on the Great River Ouse Relief Channel in Wiggenhall St Germans.

Established in 1969, the Club has provided the opportunity for exercise and social activities for generations of residents, developing skills and appreciating the value of being outdoors. We met to discuss the options for the Club’s continued use of the relief channel, some of the challenges the club is currently facing, and the value, benefit and sense of community it brings to its many members.

I look forward to continuing to work with officials from the Club, Parish Councillors and local stakeholders to help the club continue to thrive.
