🎯 DARTCHERY IS COMING TO PAY-AS-YOU-AIM! 🎯

Join us on Tuesday 16th June at our Pay-As-You-Aim Archery session, starting at 6:30pm, for a fun team challenge with a twist!

We’ll be playing Dartchery – archers will be aiming at a giant darts-style target face, scoring points just like in darts. The exact format and scoring are still being finalised, but expect plenty of friendly competition and laughs along the way.

🏹 League Night is Here! 🏹

We’re kicking off our monthly League Night, tomorrow and will continue taking place on the first Tuesday evening of the month.

Each league night you’ll shoot:
• 36 arrows
• Distance: 30m or 20m
• 10-zone scoring system

Your scores will go towards a running league table, and you’ll also be given a handicap score. That handicap will come into play for our end-of-season competition in September 🏆

📊 All scores and handicaps will be posted online so you can track your progress (and your rivals 👀)

To be in with a chance of winning the league, you’ll need to record scores on at least 3 occasions during the season.

No pressure to take part… but we reckon you’ll want to 😉

Our weekly Pay as you Aim sessions have now moved to our outdoor venue at the Quarry. The venues address is:

Grey Goose Archery, Mill Drove, Blackborough End, King's Lynn, PE32 1SW. A map the location can be found here

The gate to the archery range will be pushed closed, but not locked. Once you're at the gate please push it open, enter, then close it behind yourselves. Travel down the track for 1/2 mile and you'll see us on the left.

🏹 Indoor Handicap Competition – Final Session! 🏹

Next Tuesday marks our end-of-season indoor handicap competition – your chance to put those scores to good use and compete for the Indoor Shield!

If you’ve already got a handicap score recorded, you’re automatically in with a chance of winning 🏆

Don’t worry if you haven’t got a handicap – normal shooting will still be available for anyone who just wants to come along and enjoy the session.

This will also be our final indoor session of the season… after this, we head back outdoors! 🌿☀️

The league table now includes your current handicap, which will be used for the End of Season Handicapped Competition taking place on 31st March.

If you don’t currently have a handicap listed, it simply means you haven’t shot enough qualifying rounds yet. If you’d still like to take part in the competition, come and have a chat with me — we’ll see what we can do.

ONE-OFF ARCHERY SESSION – TONIGHT (Friday 27th Feb) 🏹

We’ve opened up an extra indoor practice session this evening at our normal venue 🏹 this is purely for people that have their own equipment.

🕖 7:00pm – 9:00pm
💷 Just £9 for the full 2 hours

If you fancy getting some extra arrows in, working on form, or just enjoying a relaxed evening shoot, this is a great chance to top up your practice for the week.

It’s just for this week only – once it’s gone, it’s gone!

No need to book turn up as normal 😍

Just two more league nights before the end-of-season competition, which takes place on 31st March 🏆

As before, you need to have taken part in at least two league nights over the winter so I can calculate a handicap score for you ahead of the competition.

🎄 Fancy Dress – Christmas Shoot 🎄

Next Tuesday (16th) we’ll be running one session only. Shooting starts at 6:30pm and we should be wrapped up by 8pm.

You’ll be put into teams of three, with up to 12 teams taking part.

You’ll be using my bows and arrows 🤣 so just bring your quivers, tabs, and anything else you need. I promise the arrows will be straight… ish 🤣

There will be 12 Christmas-themed targets to shoot at, and bonus points for the team that fully commits to the fancy dress!

The winning team will not only have bragging rights, but will also get a prize 🐥

Tea, coffee, and mince pies will be available in the kitchen throughout the evening.

I’m bringing a few different target faces tonight. If you fancy a change, they’ll be on the right-hand side of the hall.

Thought it’d be fun to mix things up a bit before the Christmas shoot next week.🎄
