Morning! We’re at Kimbolton for round 3.
Great day testing yesterday, Beau managed to take 8/10th’s off his best time and got into the 42 seconds lap time.
Aim again today is to get into the top 20 after posting at top speed of 72mph into the first corner yesterday 🫣. I’ll post running order now

Todays running order. We’re Junior Rotax 👍🏻

Morning all! We’re at Kimbolton for Round 2 today! Beau’s first here in the race spec Rotax. We tested well yesterday so will see how we go. A 34 kart grid from all over the country will bring a lot of competition so we’re targeting a top 20 finish. He’s the youngest out there battling against experienced lads up to 16. Running order attached, mixed grids (luck of the draw) until the final. Watch out for #28, orange and black RSR livery, white helmet.

Saturday race day! Greeted with this sunrise!!

Another good day, still getting used to the kart finished 6th out of 18, I know where I need to improve so will hopefully do better in March.
I’m sittting 4th in the championship, just one point off of third………..

Round 1 - Red Lodge 4/1/25
Promising start, disappointing end ……..
Qualified on pole for heat 1 finished second and second again in heat 2 before disaster struck in heat 3 when the engine mount came out on a kerb meaning a DNF.
Started the final in fifth but some carnage on the outlap meant I passed the start line in ninth.
Battled back to claim sixth.
A little down but we went well overall.
Thanks to Rob and Steph Racing for patching the kart up.

Off to Kimbolton this weekend for Round 1 there.
First time in the Junior so will be interesting to see how we go, the competition will be fierce.
