A members only club dedicated to the sport of dinghy sailing and paddle sports. Our annual open day is in May

If you’d like more information on how to join us, please visit our website or pop along on a Sunday morning to see the club and our facilities. The Ouse Amateur Sailing Club (OASC) is one of the UK's oldest sailing clubs. It sails on the overflow channel of the Great Ouse at Saddlebow, King's Lynn. It is the only non-tidal sailing venue in north-west Norfolk. Races take place every Sunday morning

Thank you to all who attended our open day today.
We had quite a few new faces Discover Sailing with us, the weather was glorious and perfect for welcoming everyone who visited. ⛵️⛵️⛵️

As always, a massive thank you to those who gave their time this afternoon, whether it was taking out our guests in boats, kitting them out, setting up club boats, serving refreshments, safety cover, admin or allocating new crew to helms. We really do appreciate you all.

Feedback from our guests was positive and they enjoyed being out on the water, we hope to see them again soon at the club.

We’ve had a very enjoyable away day Cam Sailing Club, well done to all the competitors in some spicy conditions at times.
We were well represented and supported and very much enjoyed the hospitality.
Thank you all, we look forward to seeing you next year! ⛵️⛵️⛵️

What made you want to try sailing for the first time?

Swallows and Amazons was responsible for encouraging many people to get on the water for the first time.

Sophie Neville, who played T***y in the 1974 film Swallows and Amazons, shares her experiences of sailing the Blackett’s dinghy and its special place in her heart

Just wondering if this might be useful for your members to know about . Holly sailed with you last winter , in fact we all did . You don’t know how much these races and your wonderful hospitality helped us all survive a very difficult winter . We are very sad that we couldn’t make Sunday racing this winter .

Anyway , Holly is developing her sail repair business now that she has retired from formal education .
