We’ve had a great day hosting our Streaker Dinghy Class Open, which is part of the East Anglian Series.
We received visitors from Up River Yacht Club and Hykeham Sailing Club who sailed alongside some of our own members.
Thank you to those who travelled to see us and also to those who supported an interesting day on the water. It’s not often that we only have a single class on the water.
Well done to all participants, we hope you enjoyed your visit and look forward to seeing you next year. ⛵️⛵️⛵️

OASC Recreational Sailing Days

I’d just like to say thank you to those who’ve joined us for recreational sailing this season and especially to those who’ve supported us by way of helms in the double handers, safety and shore crews to mention a few.

Today was the last day where we extended our Sunday time on the water, and whilst we had all sorts of shifts, it was a thoroughly enjoyable sail. I’m sorry for a lack of photos but I actually got out on the water, so I didn’t get chance.

We’ll now look to see what worked so well during these sessions and what we can improve, so keep your eyes on the sailing schedule for next year. We hope more of you will be able to join us outside of the racing programme.
