Formed in 1938 with the primary objective of promoting the sport of sailing. The club has grown to offer a wide range of opportunities for sailors from the local area and those from further afield, all within a friendly and informal atmosphere. Would you know what to do in an emergency on the water?
Join us on 27th August for the RYA First Aid Course, a practical one-day course designed for sailors, powerboaters, instructors, race officials, and anyone who spends time on or around the water.
The course covers:
⛵ CPR and resuscitation
⛵ Recovery position
⛵ Dealing with drowning and hypothermia
⛵ Head injuries and fractures
⛵ Medical emergencies afloat
⛵ Essential first aid techniques for boating situations
📍 Location: Snettisham Beach Sailing Club
⏰ Time: 9am to 6pm
💷 Cost: £120

Our RYA Level 2 – Basic Skills course is the perfect next step for sailors who want to build confidence and become more independent on the water.

18th & 19th July 2026

Over two fun, practical days, you'll develop your sailing skills, improve your boat handling, and gain the confidence to sail in a range of conditions.
