The RNLI have launched their Float to Live Campaign this month: An essential skill for everyone of all ages to learn.
Their advice is to practice in a local pool, in calm water in a safe environment first.

RNLI launches its Float to Live campaign for 2026 | RNLI Today, the RNLI has launched its Float to Live campaign and is reminding people to use the simple technique if they get into trouble in the water, as new research reveals that an estimated 48.97M people will be heading to the coast at least once over the summer .

Also, the lovely Kirsty, who runs Tadpoles Swimming CLUB from our pool on a Friday evening from 4pm, has let me know that she has some spaces available for swimming lessons after half term. Lessons are 30 minutes each, in small groups for children 3 - 11yrs old. Please contact her directly on 07903 136125 for more information 🙂

We've been honoured that this wonderful group have now been using our pool every Saturday morning for a whole year!🥰🥳
It's particularly special to see so many families with neurodiverse members gaining from using our facilities, as the pool was originally installed because of our own family's needs.
