Just to remind everyone that we are holding an Auction Sale of Horse Equipment, rugs and saddles, new and second hand and riding wear this Saturday 16th November, Viewing from 9.00am Sale from 11.00am. The sale will be held here at the Centre and the catalogue can be viewed online at William George or can be obtained by emailing [email protected]

Now the nights are drawing in please remember to wear your hi-viz and put on your horse's high-viz when riding on the roads. Recently saw three dark bays being ridden by riders wearing all dark clothing with a low sun behind them. They were almost impossible to see until we were right up close. Don't take the risk, the consequences of an accident for all concerned don't bear thinking about.

It is with great sadness that we have to tell everyone that our beautiful Roux had to be put to sleep this morning. He was fine at 6.00 last night but developed a twisted gut and after two visits from the vet we had to make the decision to say goodbye to him as he was in great pain.

We would like to thank all those who have sent lovely kind messages following the closure of the Riding School on 19th July. We are carrying on as a Livery Yard for the forseeable future.
It is very hard parting with some of our much loved horses and ponies but those that have gone have all found lovely homes. We still have some horses and ponies here and are able to offer some private lessons and hacking until 19th August when our Council Licence expires. If anyone wishes to book, please phone us on 01553 841212 as we are not able to take booking over the internet.
