Pretty cord binding going on the wool driving apron.

In my spare time (what’s that? 😂) I love to make hand bags 🥰. The girlier and prettier the better 😆
This one has just been finished in time to go on my holiday at the beginning of next month. It’s going to be my hand luggage bag.
Now I’m going to attempt to make a matching small handbag (for passport, tickets etc) within the next 2 weeks, whilst still trying to get customer orders out before I jet off 😎🏝️

Barkway Carriage Wash in Hertfordshire is believed to be the earliest known example of a ‘modern-day car wash’. A carriage wash served 2 purposes: cleaning coach wheels and nameplates while also soaking the wheels to prevent wood shrinkage from metal rims. Barkway was an important stopover en route from London to Cambridge and the north of England during the heyday of the coaching era. It was known to have been used into the 20th century until carriages were replaced with motor cars.
