Calling all new players, if you’ve been itching to try the sport it just fancy trying it out we put hosting rookies days both this Sunday the 16th and the following Sunday the 23rd

The sessions will be from 9am-11am over at West Lynn Sports and Social Club and is open to everyone 16yrs +

You’ll just need to bring either comfy trainers or boots and some water

Game week 3 Results!

We’ve been improving and gaining momentum as a tea each round of games so far and are really starting to rack some points up on the scoreboard!

Game week 3 saw us win our first game against Saxons and a close game against

We finished the day with a really tough game against a very strong , although the score doesn’t reflect how we played, the team took a lot away from this game!

Our Defensive MVP from game week 2 was 👏🏻👊🏻

He showed an unreal amount of dedication as was absolutely all over the field wherever we needed him to be. Countless tags taken, bat downs, stops and just a general nuisance to both of the other teams offences.

A great leader and a great all defensive player (even on offence 😉)👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Week 2 lowdown!

Apologies we’re a bit late on the reporting front, our second week saw the team take to the field again for 2 games.

The team made a huge improvement since the first week, we saw the return of a few offensive starters which made all the difference.

Our first game against we had some incredible drives from the offset but struggled to get the ball over the line to secure some points, The steam took advantage early on in the game by dropping 3 consecutive long balls over the top for touchdowns, our defensive captain then adjusted our defence and we only conceded once more in the 2nd half. Defensively the team played brilliantly and on the offensive side we where still searching for those first points.

Our 2nd game was another tough one which was against last years champs . With continuing the adjustments we made in the first game we came straight out led a perfectly drilled 8 play drive which ended in the clubs first touchdown from .alexander to .

It was a really close game where the team led all the way through right up until the last drive from the raccoons where they managed to flip the game over.

It was a really tough game and we were really unlucky not to come away with the win but a brilliant game where the raccoons QB showed an absolute masterclass behind the ball.

We go into game week 3 in a few weeks where we have a few more changes to the lineup and the team are certain that they will come away with their first win!

We had a baptism by fire on our first outing which we welcomed gladly as it taught us a great deal! So we’ve made adjustments, refined plays and been working flat out ready for this weekend!

We are absolutely buzzing to get back out on the field tomorrow where we are drawn against at 10am and then following that at 12pm the

We’re down a few players from the last set of games but then see the return of a few more of our starting line up so really looking forward to showing what we can do, LETS GO MARINERS!!!

Todays the day, start of the season! To say we’re buzzing to get started is an understatement. From a quick chuck about a year and a half ago to today, we can’t quite believe where the club has got to and what we have laying ahead! Here’s to a big season!
