🍂 September is a great month to join us for some surfing. Warm water, quiet beaches and autumn swells contribute to making this a special time of year.

🏄🏼‍♀️ We hosted a primary school and a college yesterday and scored some super fun waves! Today we saw groms tearing it up for the 1st Surf Club session for Autumn as well.

🏄🏼‍♂️ Our Surf Club courses offer flexibility allowing you to fit in your groms busy schedule around their desire to get their surfs in as well.

What.A.Team 🩵 The Discovery family on our annual staff dooo. We crowned Instructor of the Year, Shoppie of the Year, Junior Surf Instructor and Junior Shoppie, aka the Wetsuit Monkey! All of them are awesome, and what a fantastic season we’ve had (still having 😁plenty still booked in!)
Next year we’ll be into our 25th year, bring it on 💫

Calling all big groms and mini groms, Surf Club dates for the Autumn Term are now set. After a super fun summer of surfing, what better way to continue the froth with weekend (or after school) club sessions to develop those skills, just as the seasonal swells start to kick in. Fun in the sun for the final day of this weeks’ Summer Course! It’s been another fabulous week at surf school with small summer waves delivering so many super sessions 🩵 Looking good again for next week and we still have availability for lessons at Bigbury & Bantham, and of course, all the kit is available for hire too 🤙🏻

We’ve had a joy filled, fun few days at surf school and the waves have been pumping! Thanks to everyone that has joined us for lessons, courses and hired equipment. Forecast is looking good too, so get in touch if you’d like to come and get involved 🤙🏻

Snippets from a summery day across the bay. SUP lesson first thing, families, friends, beginners, improvers all having fun. The surf has been small but stoke levels are big!

Pre surf lesson fuel up courtesy of the awesome Mount Folly Farm milkshakes (available from the vending shed on the way down to Bigbury beach). The instructors were loving it! Reckon we might head up for a post surf Mount Folly Farm ice-cream as well (also at the vending shed!) 🥤🍦☀️🏄🏼‍♀️ Our What’s On page for latest availability has also been updated on our website (link in bio) 🤙🏻

This week has been truly glorious at Bigbury & Bantham and stoke levels have been very high - this grom was loving the long waves at the superbank (the dropping tide has been turning on with this small swell 🤙🏻) We’ve still got lesson availability at Bigbury & Bantham so if you’re keen for some warm waves get in touch
