Meet the teacher - Bertille Boyère 🎭 Bertille graduated from Norwich University of the Arts with a BA (Hons) in Acting. Her third-year dissertation explored the benefits of acting lessons on children’s development. Particularly looking into the transferable skills children develop through acting and drama e.g. confidence, team building, creative thinking, problem solving and listening and responding. She is also a founding member of independent theatre company - Skim Milk Theatre. Bertille will help students develop their acting skills in a relaxed and supportive environment though tasks, games and work towards in-house performances in the studio 4 theatre space. There will also be the opportunity for Drama Club students to work towards their LAMDA Acting Exams.

For our 9-14 year olds: Audition registration is now open for London Children’s Ballet’s 2027 production of Snow White at the Peacock Theatre as well as their Touring Companies and Development Programme.

LCB gives talented young dancers the unique experience of training and performing as part of an all-child ballet company in a way that fits with their regular ballet classes and schooling, working towards an original two-act narrative ballet. The company comes together on Sundays over a 6-month period, leading up to 8 shows at the Peacock Theatre in the West End 1-4 July 2027. LCB encourages applications from ALL passionate young dancers; looking for a cast who are engaging and enjoy telling a story. Dancers will also be auditioning for our Touring Companies and Development Programme.

Important‼️ please read Dear Parents and Carers

I have made the decision to drastically alter our timetable for this coming week. With temperatures soaring into the mid 30’s, I have a duty of care to all our lovely teachers and students, and feel that our studios are going to be too hot this week for everyone to work safely. Some of our Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday ballet classes, Wednesday Contemporary, Thursday Adult Ballet and Thursday Tap classes will be cancelled whilst we move all remaining classes into the air-conditioned studios over the road.Please see the timetable below for information regarding which classes we are able to run. All cancelled classes will be credited to your accounts where possible. Please get in touch if a class credit won’t work for you and you require a refund.

Watching Week will go ahead for scheduled classes as planned.
