💥 Stephen Cooper commits to East Hull’s 2020/21 season 💥

Stephen returns to Dunswell this season after departing part way through the season to join Barton Town!

Joshua Barnes has spoken to us and said “Bringing Coops back was something I’ve wanted to do since the return! He offers us a lot as a Defender and Midfielder, so will be invaluable to us, we are pleased he’s chosen us over the other clubs that have been in contact with him”.

Cooper on his return has said “Firstly I want to thank Josh, Andy and Jamie for having me back. I feel as though I have unfinished business at this football club. There’s a brand new core here with the lads Josh has brought in, and with that in mind I think we can really progress as a team this season. It didn’t work out at Barton, but that’s football you’ve just got to get on with it. As for this season I’m excited to get going again. I’m looking forward to the start, whenever that might be. But all we can do at the minute is take the small steps towards that and prepare the best we can”.

💥 Barnes appointed Vice-Captain 💥

With the new squad taking shape, East Hull are pleased to announce Jason Barnes will be this seasons Vice-Captain.

Jason is a vocal player on and off the pitch, and has always demanded high standard from his team mates.

💥 Jonny Morritt commits to East Hull for the 2020/21 season! 💥

Morritt joins the club, a great athlete, He brings height, strength and speed to the back line, with the hunger to prove himself after small stints in the NCEL Prem in the past.

Josh Barnes told us of his delight to get another target over the line “Having Jonny here is fantastic for us, he was on Goole’s books last season but didn’t get much of a crack at it, so coming here will mean he can establish himself as a NCEL player”.

Jonny’s thoughts on joining were “I’m really happy to sign for the club, it's wasn't an easy decision to leave Driffield but I feel as though this is the right time to progress, Josh helped me to start to enjoy football again a couple of seasons ago. And I'm keen for the season to start and play my part in moving the club forward”.

💥 Jason Barnes commits to East Hull for the 2020/21 season 💥

We are delighted to announce we have beaten several clubs, including clubs higher up the Football pyramid to re-Capture Barnes this season.

Josh Barnes spoke to us today saying “I’m very happy to see Jason come back this season, we’ve had plenty of chats about his destination this season as he’s had some good offers, but he wants to help this club build and we are delighted to hear it”.

Jason gave us his thoughts “After a good few weeks pre season I can already see it’s a completely different squad and mindset from last season and I am looking forward to helping this squad prove people wrong and I believe we will have a strong season”

The position for Goalkeeper coach has become available, somebody with experience is preferred, but if you haven’t got experience in coaching but have the willingness to learn/listen this would be a great opportunity for you, so please still get in touch.

💥 Jordan Shaw commits to East Hull 2020/21 💥

The club are delighted to announce Jordan Shaw to the ranks! A pacey player with great link up play and bags off energy!

Barnes told us today “I brought Jordan to Driffield my previous club, and always knew he’d progress beyond, I’m pleased he’s come on board here, he’s the type of player who can drag you out of a bad situation, he’s got the best mentality I’ve seen on a football pitch, and The club are excited to have him here!”

Jordan spoke to us this morning saying “Hard decision to leave Driffield who have done a lot for me over the past 3 years, but I feel making the step up is the right decision and looking forward to getting going”

💥 Marc Wain commits to East Hull FC for the 2020/21 season 💥

East Hull have signed Goalkeeper Marc Wain as they continue to build for the upcoming season! Barnes has said today “Marc is a great addition, he will come in competing and helping youngsters Rahim & Pinder, plus provide the perfect competition for Lewis when he returns, the Goalkeeper union at the club is in good spirits and they’re pushing each other to the limit and it’s good to see!”

Marc has told the page today that he is “Happy to get the opportunity and really looking forward to getting going. Training really hard to make sure I’m ready for the start.”
