🟥 “I train as hard as I can but I don’t see results” 🟥

Ask yourself honestly, are you REALLY training as hard as you can ?

Are you taking your sets all the way to or near failure ?

Are you progressing your lifts or staying on the same weight for weeks?

Many of us like to think we train hard, but the likely hood for the average gym goer is that we can always train harder, and most of that comes down to mindset and how much you are willing to push yourself.

If your comfortably performing upwards of 4 sets per exercise, training 6-7 times a week and still thinking your training, you might want to reevaluate your training intensity.

I mean of course, this is person dependant, but only a select few can handle that volume be able to recover !

2-3sets per exercise
Taken to failure
Prioritise recovery 🏆

𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 !

I enjoy training, it’s my time to focus and also relax, but it got me thinking about how so many people use the gym or exercise as a punishment.

“I need to burn of that extra chocolate bar”
“Gotta sweat out all the weekend calories”

Your immediately setting yourself up to not enjoy your week and even worse, to do the same the again! Week after week 👎🏼

Training should be for bettering yourself, not to punish what you “think” is bad behaviours. We’re all human, who enjoy luxuries and a social life.

Learn to combine both exercise, nutrition and a social life. Yes it can be done 💪🏼

Remember your why! And do not forget how far you have come!

Sometimes, challenges arise that make us loose sight of the progress we have made and the goals we put in place, but remember why you started in the first place and reflect back and just how far you have come along the journey.
