“Everything will be alright in the end and if it’s not then it’s not the end.”
After 10 years in a stable facility, 6 months ago we found ourselves without a gym. We moved quickly in to new premises but they just wasn’t right. A good friend of my mine Simon Butters his brother Mark and father Vic gave us a great opportunity to refurbish a unit of there’s and make Reservoir Rd our new home.
I want to thank all those that believed we would find new premises and we would not only build back but build it back better. Tonight we shaped up for a team photo in a brand new kit ahead our first fight night of the season tomorrow.
We got knocked down but we was up at 8…….. we turned it around and won the fight.

Let’s face it, sh*t happens! But what truly matters is how we respond to it. That’s why building strong foundations from a young age is crucial.
I believe it’s time to challenge our school curriculum and make it more relevant to real-life experiences. Recently, I had the honor of speaking at a mental health carnival, where I shared a powerful message. “I’m not mental, and neither are you. We are human beings living in the real world.”
Life can be tough. It’s okay to feel fed up, pi**ed off, or overwhelmed with overthinking, anxiety, stress, or pressure. We all go through these emotions, and it’s normal.
That’s why it’s essential to equip ourselves with the skills to navigate these experiences from a young age. Just like taking painkillers for a headache, we need to teach ourselves that when we’re stressed, maybe we need to work out or take a break. And if we’re feeling sad, it could be because of our diet and lifestyle.
I’ve personally faced adversity and recently experienced tragedy in my life. I struggle every day, and that’s perfectly okay. But the lessons in resilience that I learned from a young age are serving me well.
Let’s empower ourselves and the next generation to embrace life’s challenges, learn from them, and emerge stronger than ever before. Together, we can overcome anything that comes our way!

So tonight was the last training session on Geneva Way. We’ve had an unbelievable 8 years but now it’s time to move into a new home which will be dedicated solely to youngsters.
Our facilities will yes be a home for talent but it will also be a family for everyone.
We want to extend our offering by hosting more sessions that support a wider age range which will ensure we have a constant conveyor belt.
I am looking forward to getting more involved with the young kids and helping them develop. Should kids want to turn pro we will have a pro stable ready and waiting when their time is right.
