You don’t have to push through
You get to choose a different way

Midlife isn’t the time to fight against your body, it’s the time to work WITH yourself
But so many women I meet are still stuck in “grit your teeth and get through it” mode.

Whether it’s training, food, stress or symptoms… they’ve been taught that struggle is a sign of success. That if they just try harder, they’ll get “there.”

But what if “there” isn’t somewhere you force yourself to go...

When was the last time you moved your body just for you... not to prove something, but to reconnect?

You don’t have to be the strongest in the room… you just have to show up for yourself.

This is the message I come back to again and again—not just for my clients, but for me too.

In midlife, strength training becomes less about “getting shredded” or pushing through at all costs, and more about reconnecting with our bodies, our breath, and the power we hold within us.

It's not about proving you're strong.
It's about realising you already are.
Even on the days you feel wobbly.
Even when your hormones are shifting and you're questioning everything.
Even when you’re tired of starting over.

This is what it means to come home to yourself.
Not perfect. Just present.

Your next era could be your strongest - wise words here from Lightbulb ADHD Coaching 💪💫💗

Instead of chasing eternal youth, I believe that older women with ADHD can enjoy our next stage - our 'Crone' era if you like. Think of the style and advocacy of Karen Arthur, the twinkly eyed outrageous Miriam Margolies, the wit and talent of Judi Dench, the activism of women like Annie Lennox, Michelle Obama - the list goes on and on and on.

I hope that women now and in the future can feel more confident - and more self compassionate - about the pathway into menopause.
