Lesson Plan - Sunday 5th July
Today we focused on three things:
1) postures to stretch the chest & shoulders
2) Postures to stretch the hamstrings\hips
3) Posture to improve core stength
We finished with the challenge of twisted scorpion pose

I had forgotten how rewarding teaching slow stretch is... haven't taught this since the second covid lockdown when I was doing online classes, did an hour long class today to cover a deep stretch class, 30 minutes upper body\shoulder mobility and 30 minutes lower body and hip flexibility .
Three ladies, two of whom were quite insistent they could not do a hindi squat... by the end of the class two of them in hindi squat unaided, the third looking really comfortable with the help of two blocks 😍

Friday Feline - a bit later than usual today, as I'm an evil human and took Harley & Loki to to V.E.T. for their annual check-up and vaccines.
Clean bill of health for both, and I think I've been forgiven!!

Yoga lesson plan - Sunday 28th June
We stuck with the theme of summer, and due to the current heatwave did Moon Salutation style flows to keep things cooler.
Today's focus was on the hips, lunges, side lunges, twisted dragon lunge, half monkey, cresent lunge, extended pigeon and wide leg folds featured!

Don't be put of by the word Heavy in the name, and don't be fooled into thinking "oh, it's just Body Pump with heavier weights"... it has a very different feel to Body Pump with more focus on building your technique and confidence with lifting weights!!
