Hull Youth Bowling Club

A gold medal deserves something special, so to celebrate Avan's Gold Medal at the EYC, we got a cake, it went down really well! Thanks to Paul for sorting it.

On Sunday we took 8 kids up to Washington, to bowl in the E.X Comps Annual Singles & Doubles Tournament. All the kids showed good sportsmanship, etiquette & bowled amazing. Charlie B & Blake came away with 3rd place in the division 4 doubles. Well done boys.

Hello all, it's been a while so prepare for some updates!
At the end of last year we added 4 new coaches to our YBC meaning we now have 9 coaches. Clare recently passed her level 3 coaching course, the only female level 3 in the UK!
What does this mean....well it means we can potentially expand our YBC, we currently have around 32 turning up on a regular basis. So if you have a child between the ages of 4 -22 who loves bowling & would like to learn more, bring them along to Hollywoood bowl Hull on a Saturday morning or send us a message for more information.

We've had a fantastic couple of weeks at Hull YBC - if you or your child is aged between 4 - 22 and you have Saturday mornings free - please come on down to Hollywood Bowl Kingwood at 9:30 and join the fun!

We had a super Round 19 at Hull Youth Bowling Club! We had a new member join us this week (welcome Charlie!), Abigail recorded her new high game and series without bumpers, and Xander matched his high game of the season!

IBF YOUTH WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 2022, HELSINGBORG, SWEDEN

The BTBA and Team England would like to invite athletes to put themselves forward to be considered for entry into the IBF Youth World Championships.

In order to be eligible to compete in the IBF Under 21 Championship, a player must be under 21 years of age on the 31 December 2021.

What this means is if you are 21 years of age on 31 December 21 you cannot participate in these championships. If you are 21 years of age on January 1st 2022, you can participate in these championships.

The team will be selected from all applications received and by a Team England Selection Committee.

Please be aware that anyone who wishes to put themselves forward, this event will be totally self-funding. Currently there is no information regarding costs, but it is expected that this event could cost bowlers in excess of £3000 each. Therefore please ensure that you are willing to pay these fees before you submit your request to be considered.
