Lambwath Lionesses 2026

Brilliant night for our girls at Hull KR’s community round fixture against Toulouse. Our girls did the lap of honour before Ada was picked to go on the pitch for flag bearing.

At half time our club chairman and secretary were presented with the full club award of community club of the year🏆🏆🏆🏆

Last night we started with our dynamics then into a passing race. We worked on our tackle techniques adapting into a two player tackle. The girls enjoyed a game of four corners before finishing off with a game. Some great rugby on show once again.

We're delighted to reveal that the final winner of our 2026 Community Awards is Lambwath Lions ARLFC.

Lambwath Lions has created a welcoming, inclusive and supportive environment where young people of all backgrounds and abilities can thrive. Thanks to the dedication of its volunteers, coaches and families, the club continues to grow, providing opportunities for more children to enjoy rugby league, build confidence and feel part of a supportive community.

Tonight we started the session with a tackle bag relay race, moving into our defensive dynamics. We then went into a guard your ground drill using a narrow pitch focusing on closing the gaps in defence. We finished off with teaching the girls how to set up in an attacking phase of play.

Training is every Wednesday 6-7pm on Eastmount🦁
