The Tics progress to the next round of The Munro Cup with a dominant display against Willerby Jags.

Looking to right plenty of wrongs from last weekends abysmal performance The Tics do just that coming away deserving winners against a top flight outfit.

Starting as we meant to go on and getting a stronghold in the game from minute one The Tics looked solid all round with every individual playing their part.

Limiting our opposition to minimal chances not to mention being wasteful at times going forwards ourselves The Tics stayed dominant throughout with the lead and even more so the result never in doubt.

Plenty of stand out performances today and a special mention to Albo for sticking his hand up to go in goal and doing an outstanding job at that but man of the match goes to Ben Harrison. Solid, decisive and neat.

Thanks to everyone who came down to support,
Onto the next one!!

Tough one to take today.

Seemingly bang up for it going into the game, arses fell out as soon as we realised we was up against it and Westella wouldn’t roll over easily. Out played, out ran and out battled. Just not good enough!

Fair play to our opponents who was a very well drilled and organised side but it certainly wasn’t a great representation of ourselves today, just well off the mark.

Onto next weekend now as we face Jags away in the 2nd round of the Munro Cup and we’ll certainly need a more spirited performance if we’re wanting to put our names in the hat for the next round.

The Tics make it 2/2 as we thrash New Kings 3 nil away from home!!

Going into the game full of confidence, The Tics was keen to pick up where they left off last week and also right a few wrongs along the way too.

Starting the game fairly steadily The Tics grew minute on minute before Captain Fantastic opened the scoring.

With Blakemore’s Boys unable to contain The Tics, we found ourselves 2 up at half time and hungry for more.

Certainly picking things up in the second half: out working, out battling and out playing them we was unfortunate not to pull further in front sooner.

With a few subs now made by The Tics, New Kings found it even harder to get any sort of foothold in the game and the 3rd goal was the final nail in the coffin.

Although not our best footballing performance our hunger, desire and quality shone through resulting in The Tics coming away well deserving winners.

Thanks to all who showed out and supported the lads, as always it’s greatly appreciated.

Onto the next one!!

Today we got our 26/27 league campaign off to the start we was hoping for and came away deserving winners.

After a slippery start The Tics found ourselves 4-0 up at half time and in all honesty, it could’ve been more.

Hoping for plenty of the same in the second half The Tics rejuvenated and ready to go shaped up the same, but they wasn’t to come. In fact there was only one goal in it before Star Man Welham bagged his third of day.

Fortunately having enough about ourselves to see the result through, it was an all round positive showing but there is certainly plenty to work on.

Thanks to everyone who came down to watch,
Onto the next one!
