Today’s visit from Willerby jags
Saw a poor quality game due to a poor pitch.

New kings started brighter with chances that should have been put away,
Those chances missed would come back to haunt us as Willerby Jags scored against the run of play,

Willerby began to push back into the game with their tails up, until a dubious free kick was given against New Kings which resulted in the angry small CB for Willerby striking a great freekick into the top left corner.

Second half began and Willerby Began stronger this time and made it 3-0.
New Kings regrouped made some changes and began to apply pressure, which paid off when a ball played right from Matty Meakin found Harvey Wilkinson, who made no mistake in finding the bottom left corner.
For the rest of the game New Kings were the better team, Jordan Lewis played through Matty Meakin who made it 3-2.

That same Little angry CB then put in a reckless challenge leaving the ref no choice but to send him off with 8 minutes to play, New Kings pressed hard but didn’t have enough time to equalise the game, a draw would have been a fairer result
But we don’t mind posting when we lose as when as when we win 👀👀

During a turbulent season for Cross Keys they were unable to field a squad of registered players so we were awarded the points.

They have heavily recruited so they wanted to test out some new players so we played a friendly fixture.

From the first whistle the game was heavily in New Kings Favour with the deadlock broken after a short while,

Shaun Knowles hit home from outside of the area leaving the keeper stranded

Within a few minutes, Youssef Sali slid in a great ball to Harvey Wilkinson, his thumb was well and truly on Triangle with that ball, Harvey was brought down in the area resulting in a penalty which was calmly converted

Again 10 minutes later the boys were interchanging like Hull bus station with Jak Eden firing past the keeper after starting the move like a ballerina on steroids.

And to end the first half Jak Eden played through Matty Meakin who beat his on rushing keeper with outside of his foot flicking the ball like he’s never flicked before, Great finish and we go into half time 4-0 up

Second half began even faster than the first half Dec Hallett turned into Pirlo for 0.0025 seconds to find Matty Meakin again, who latched on to the end and fired home a lovely double for him!

Next up Charlie hadfield screamed WATCH THIS and as he laid down the Kebab he double tapped triangle and sent a delicious ball into Shaun Knowles, who channelled his in Sniper Victim as he was brought down in the area
PENALTY!!
Shaun dispatched to earn his brace!

The final action of the game Chris won’t claim it but we gave it to him anyway because…well.. why not?
What a great assist from Chris who had something to do with the ball coming to Youssef off of the defender? Possibly?
Either way youssef put all his strength to fire home from the outside of the area
7-0 win
