As we come towards the end of another season all our teams are safe from relegation, but unlikely to gain promotion. Steady best describes our overall performance but judging by what I'm being told everyone has had an enjoyable season and is going to give it another go in September 🏓🏓

An update on how our teams fared during the 24/25 season.
Wanderers finished 4th in Division 1 with Mark Storr giving the best percentage, Ravens were 8th (possibly 9th) in Division 2 with Dave Yeaman leading the way. A strong performance from Roosters saw them 3rd in Division 3 with Stuart Nicholson top of the averages, Robins finished 7th with Tony Beharell achieving the highest average and Meerkats came 10th with Ian (WISP) Pennington confusing enough opponents to finish with the best percentage.
Stuart Nicholson will be playing on finals night next week.
Former Ryehill players Zoe Podmore and Jack Kelly were part of the Goodwin Wasps team that won the Premier Division .
Our club was well represented at the Hull and District Table Tennis Top 12's.
Mark got to the semi finals of Division 1, Dave reached the 1/4 finals in 2, and Angie, Alex, John K, Wisp and Stuart competed in Division 3 with Stuart going furthest and reaching the semi finals.
Well done all 🏓🏓

At the mid point of the season Wanderers are 4th in Division 1 having had some really close matches, Ravens are 9th in Division 2 but look as though they are finally finding some form. Roosters are 3rd in Division 3 with Robins not far behind in 6th. Meerkats are having a lovely time without a great deal of success.
In the recent round of handicap Cup matches Ravens overcame Bricknell Barracudas, Roosters lost to Bricknell Bandicoots, Robins went down by the odd point to Goodwin Mikians and Meerkats entertained Goodwin Tigers, having a wonderful evening albeit unsuccessful.
Tonight Ian Mendham will attempt to duplicate last season's success in the Lucky Dip Doubles although hw will have a different partner this time.
Wanderers got off to a winning start in Division 1 while Ravens had a losing trip to play Cherry Burton in 2. Roosters winning ways continued but Meerkats came off 2nd best in Division 3.
Angela Dunn is the busiest player in the club, providing points for Robins and Roosters.
After 2 weeks of the Hull and District League Robins have played 2/won 2, Roosters played 1/won 1. Meerkats have lost both their matches but both were close.
Wanderers have played 2 matches in Division 1 but no results showing yet, while Ravens in Division 2 have yet to play.
New season starts with a local derby match in Division 3 with Robins hosting Meerkats. In Division 1 Wanderers travel to Leconfield. Roosters have a bye in Division 3 and Ravens match with Leconfield B is being rearranged as Leconfield have 2 players away.
