Hull Lions won the toss and elected to bat first, putting up a competitive total of 194 runs in 25 overs. The standout performer was R. Mehedi, who played a firing innings, smashing 68 off 43 balls, including 7 sixes, giving Lions strong momentum. He was supported by Nahid (29), Monsoor (16), and a late contribution from captain Raj (13) to finish the innings on a high.
