Hall Road Stingray's U12's

Before the first whistle today, we spoke about effort, teamwork, and enjoying the game.

For some of these lads, this was their first time pulling on the shirt together. There were nerves, excitement, and plenty of anticipation, but once they stepped onto that pitch, they gave everything for each other.

What followed was great link-up play, some exceptional footwork, endless determination, and a performance that showed exactly what this group is capable of becoming.

The result wasn't the most important thing today. Seeing these lads work together, encourage one another, and start building something special was what mattered most.

This was the beginning of our journey as a team, and we're excited for what's to come. 💙🤍💙

Today saw us play our very first friendly as a team, and what a day it was!

Having only trained together as a full squad for a few weeks, I am incredibly proud of every single one of the lads. The effort, commitment, teamwork, and attitude they showed throughout the game were brilliant to see.

The result may not have gone our way, but football is about so much more than the score line. Today was a huge success for us. What these lads brought onto the pitch after such a short time together was nothing short of amazing.

Of course, we'll take things away from today's match and work on them in training as we continue to grow and develop together. Every game is a learning opportunity, and that's exactly what we'll do.

This team is only just getting started, and if today is anything to go by, there are plenty of exciting times ahead. Proud of every one of them. 💪

A special mention has to go to our goalkeeper today. He dedicated this match to his Nanna, who unfortunately isn't very well. He put in a tremendous performance and should be incredibly proud of himself. His performance today would have made his Nanna incredibly proud, and I know his Mum, Dad, and all of us at the club certainly were. 💙🤍🧤

This week session is 10.15, we are trying different times to see which is best for teams so doesnt clash with other commitments.

A lighter training session last night with it being scorching hot ☀️

Worked on receiving and distributing, meeting the ball, and progressional 1v1 to 3v3.

Being an original Hall Road Stingray, he knows exactly what it means to wear the badge with pride and determination. Fierce in the tackle and always giving 100%, Charlie leads by example every time he steps onto the pitch.

Wearing the captain’s armband, he shows great leadership both on and off the field and is a massive part of the team.
