The Hull Regency dancers are a group of dancers based in East Hull, We meet weekly to learn Playford and Regency dances.
The Hull Regency Dance Group is a dance group based in East Hull, in the North of England. Our aim is to promote, practice and enjoy the dances from Restoration up to the Regency periods, circa 1650-1830. Just had a great day dancing at Hull Minster or as I know it Holy Trinity Church, beautiful building, couldn’t resist updating the group photo!
Tomorrow we are dancing at the Heritage Weekend, we will be at the top of whitefriargate by the Beverley Gate for 11 am and parade down Whitefriargate to Hull Minster, with the Lord Mayor and the Town Crier leading the parade. Then will be dancing inside the Minster, so if your out and about pop in and see us and say hello!
We have just had a lovely day at Cottingham Civic Hall helping to celebrate the Hull Folk Dancing Club’s Centenary. Thank you so much for inviting us!

We had a great time dancing for the International Exhibition and Dance Performance at the Jubilee Hall Hull the other weekend, it was so nice to see dances from different countries being performed. Thank you for asking us!
