For years, I thought fat loss meant strict diets, cutting out everything I loved, and doing endless cardio.
I was constantly chasing quick fixes and felt like if I wasnât perfect, Iâd failed.
But hereâs what actually worked and what I wish Iâd known sooner:
1ď¸âŁ It takes time and thatâs a good thing.
I used to panic if progress felt slow, but lasting results come from building habits you can stick with. Quick fixes donât teach you that.
2ď¸âŁ You donât have to be perfect.
Missing a workout or having a meal out doesnât undo your progress. Itâs what you do consistently that counts not the occasional slip.
3ď¸âŁ Your body needs rest, too.
Stress, sleep, and recovery matter more than I ever realised. Once I started taking care of those, everything got easier.
4ď¸âŁ Itâs about building a lifestyle you actually enjoy.
I stopped obsessing over the scale, started lifting, fueling my body properly and thatâs when fat loss started to feel natural, not forced.
