πŸ”₯ BUTLINS KIT REVEAL 2026 πŸ”₯

What a brilliant night for the lads and lady πŸ™Œ

We had a fun-filled evening presenting our players with their Butlins gear – plenty of smiles, loads of excitement, pizza all round πŸ• and even a bit of fun out on the pitch! πŸ‰

The buzz in the room said it all… the team absolutely loved it! πŸ’šπŸ’›

πŸ‘• Here’s our 2026 Butlins kit:

– Our playing kit ready for game time

– And our walk around kit keeping the squad looking sharp off the field

As an honor to one of our coaches we've incorporated the poppies of the fallen soldiers to remember those who came before us

A massive thank you to our sponsors and for everyone else who continues to support the team – these moments mean everything to the kids πŸ‘

Roll on Butlins… Let’s go! πŸ’ͺπŸ”₯

🦁 Wednesday night rugby 🦁

Wednesday our lions had an away game at West Hull RLFC with Kingswood Knights ARLFC and Hull Knights

Us coaches want to start by saying how proud we are of every player!!
They played some good opponents, but held there own πŸ‘ŠπŸ»
There was great communication and some excellent team work.

One of the biggest things was playing with heads up and seeing and creating space for themselves 🦁

COACH ROB -

A massive well done for my 2 player of the matches tonight. I picked 2 as these both gave 110% tonight πŸ‘

1st is Max

Max had 3 fantastic games and bagged himself a fair few try’s. He saw space and just ran! The confidence he had tonight was unmatched πŸ’ͺ🏻🦁

2nd is Frankie

Frankie had 3 amazing games. One of the biggest thinks for Frankie (been the only girl in the team) was hearing her voice tonight, normally quite and reserved on the pitch...... tonight you heard the lion roar 🦁 Frankie bagged herself try after try! Some of her 1 on 1 tackle was outstanding πŸ’ͺ🏻

COACH DANE

To start off with I want to say how immensely proud I was of my team 🀟 all 3 games were class.. at the begining even before the 1st match we had a team talk and went over somethings that we'd discussed in training, all taking it on board again about respecting eachother the man next door, working hard as a team but also individually and been able to go home and say to themselves that they gave it their all whilst having fun playing the game they love 🀟 and boy did they..

Every game played they mucked in together in defence leaving no stone unturned, attack working of the 1st receiver making some good plays moving the ball about and gaining the yards scoring some scintillating trys scored to top it off..

Player of the matches was a hard choice with every player putting in maximum effort.

1st player of the match goes to..
Player 15

From start to finish he directed the team around the park taking the ball to the line and making the spaces for some quality trys to be scored and bossing it in defence. Great communication keep the teams structure.

2nd player of the match..

J.A.. J.A is a new lad to the team this season and it was his debut game 🀟 after having an injury that's kept him out from playing he made up for the 3 games he's missed. Solid in attack getting the roll going bagging himself a couple of trys and in defense 1st man in nearly in every tackle down his side, a kid born to play rugby league.

Well done team 🦁🟒⚫️🟒⚫️
