Hull united v first touch

Hull started the game strong with attacking football but found it hard to score past the first touch goal keeper. It took a very well hit shot from Mia to finally go past her. Hull was on top for the most of the game. Hulls defence was solid when called upon with Zara and holly not letting anything past them.

Hull was on top in the second 15 with Eva in midfield creating chance after chance but couldn’t find the net. Hull kept attacking with Mia getting herself on the score again

Third 15 hull attacked once more but first touch’s defence stayed strong. Eva finally got her well deserved goal.

Last 15 hull went out on the attack with every hull united player wanting to get on the score sheet but the first touch keeper was stopping everything once again. Mia found the net once more for hull

Parents player peyton has found a new confidence. She was hard in tackles and was very strong with the ball at her feet which first touch found hard to get the ball off her

Coaches player Halle was not stop energy. She ran her socks off taking players on creating a lot of chances and was very unlucky not to score

Every girl was unbelievable today and anyone of them could have coaches player well done girls

Hull united u10s girls travelled to preston today and played in a hard fought contest

After a well fought first 15 mins united found themselves behind on the counter attack numerous times with excellent finishes from the preston girls. United kept up the pressure in first half with plenty of corners and possesion and mia going through a few times one and one with the keeper pulling out some excellent saves but utd to no avail and found themselves down at half time.

Second half united got 1 back from a corner swung in by halle causing havoc in the box resulted in an OG by preston

Utd who then kept the pressure up got another goal resulting from another corner in the end falling to zara who slots it into the bottom corner

Preston then came back again scoring 2 more goals against the run of play in excellent counter attacks.

Parents player of the match today was lucy.

She never stopped tackling, fighting for every ball and was a rock at the back

Coaches player of match was zara

She was also excellent in defence with some excellent tackles and man marking

Hull united under 10s girl’s played out a thrilling encounter with tickton in a rearranged midweek match with goals and attacking football from both teams on display

After a lackluster display over the weekend in butlins the coaches was expecting hull united girl’s to bounce back and the girls responded from the kick off with purpose.

United went straight at tickton with robyn going close with the first chance going wide and then halle had a fantastic chance after great work from neve creating another chance with her mazy runs down the wing however the defender was able to clear it off the line.

Another shot from Halle which was again set up by Neve was put wide.

Tickton then got back into the game and a few nice saves by Piper commanding her box.

The attempts at goal continued to fly in with another great attempt from Mia which assisted by Hollie and hits the back of the net to a great cheer from the girls.

Not long after the first goal the girl’s are on fire with another great goal this time from Robyn slotting into the bottom corner. Then again united was straight back onto the attack and Mia got another goal ending the first 1/4 leading and smiles all around.

Tickton come out firing in attack with Lucy doing great in defence winnning possesion and driving forward with purpose and playing the ball into mia and resulting in a another goal giving Mia a hatrick this didn’t last long till that was soon added her 4th goal for Mia with a well taken finish.

The girls were all showing off lots of great skill and footwork during this 1/4.

It was now Peyton’s turn to make an attempt at goal but came off just unlucky after great determanation

Ruby, Zara and Holly all with fancy footwork and great defensive work as tickton made some solid challenges with plenty of good battling from both teams. With a few nice saves from Piper too.

A confident long ball by hollie that looked like it was about to go in went wide! Which then was followed up by another long shot from the halfway line by Lucy giving her first goal for the team and what a strike it was. Unreal goal from lucy jackson!!! ⚽️ And winning her a well deserved player of the match award!

The first half over and the coaches and players couldnt be more proud of how they are performing. Not one player wanted to come off and all moaning about taking it in turns been a sub which makes a change.

2nd half under way and a shot by Mia saved by the tickton goalkeeper resulted in a goal line scramble and with great determination Eva gets her first goal of the season and a deserved one too after great work in defence and midfield during the first half.

The whole team had to work hard in defence as tickton was trying to claw themeelves back into the game with some good possession making some good passing combinations and attacking down the wings.

Tickton then fired 2 quick goals back with great strikes leaving piper with no chance with either before halle who used her skill and pace drove down the left wing before cutting inside and rifling a shot into the roof of the net for a deserved goal after hard work in the midfield all game.

Tickton managed another 2 goals as the coaches swapped playeds around and tried them all in different positions with zara and hollie making numerous blocks and interceptions in the last 15 mis for the deserved win.

Neve picked up joint coaches player of the match flying up and down the wing with intent creating numerous chances and defending amazingly all game.

Lucy picked up joint coaches player of the match for great work on the ball and driving out of defence with real intent to set up chances and of course her first goal for united with a goal from the half way line into the roof of the net

Well done girl’s
Outstanding tonight
