An amazing morning of Gladiators inspired hockey fun at our final junior session of the season, with coaches and young leaders acting as our very own versions of Nitro and Dynamite 💪. Who won? Who knows 🤷‍♂️😂.

Also, our end of season junior awards capped it all off and well done to our very worthy winners in each age category, both those that received their awards in person (pictured), and those that couldn’t make it today. It’s been a brilliant season for our junior teams 👏👏👏.

Special mentions to Dec and Jasmine, who were awarded the Paul Bristow Trophy and Lucy Caley trophy respectively for their service both on and off the pitch this season as junior members, constantly going above and beyond what is expected of them. The club are very proud of you both.

Final mention to the winner of this season’s Terry Sutton Coach of Season award going to Mark Beaney. Such an amazing servant of the club for several years now, culminating in running two U16 boys teams this year, the first time the club has been able to field two teams in this age group for boys, which is a credit to Mark’s enthusiasm and superb coaching.

Today the club were invited to deliver a hockey masterclass to six academy schools across Hull, East Yorkshire and NE Lincs from the David Ross Education Trust, and it has been a brilliant day, with over 50 kids showing us what they’ve got 🏑👌💪💪💪.

Some budding future hockey stars in this lot I’m sure! We hope you continue your journey and come and see us at KUHHC or your local club real soon now that you have found the best sport in the world!

JUNIOR AWARDS 2022-2023 🏅🏆

Our end of season junior day also saw us handing out team and club awards! We could give trophies to every single member, but we had to pick a few. 👏🏻
