Under 5’s Shrimps Trainers & Listener Of The Week

Today we welcomed Arlo into our under 5’s team

Arlo had a great first session with us today. Looked like he has been with us for weeks. Great passing, catching but was mostly impressed with how he listened to every thing the coaches said. Great start Arlo!!

Jack lead the way for his team in our game scenario drills, helping and encouraging his team mates to follow suit. This is a new and difficult drill to teach the boys, so Jack really helped us today.

Well done Arlo & Jack🥕

Great to see our scholarship players representing on the big stage last night in the Hull derby between Hull KR and Hull FC .

Hull FC came out on top with a 30–8 win, but the real pride for us at Skirlaugh is seeing our players competing at that level and showcasing their hard work and dedication.

A fantastic achievement for everyone involved

Our girls teams kicked off their season in style on Tuesday

Our U6’s travelled away to face Hull Wyke, West Hull & Hull Knights, while our U7’s proudly hosted Kingswood and Lambwath at home.

It was incredible to see just how much progress and growth these teams have made since last year, the confidence, teamwork and determination on display was amazing to watch!

There are some very exciting times ahead for these girls, and we can’t wait to be part of their journey

Under 5’s Shrimps Trainers & Listener of the Week 🥕

A special moment today as we said goodbye to Jacob, who will be moving down to join his own age group with the Under 4’s next week. We wish him all the very best and thank him and his family for all their support over the past year.

A big thank you as well to Natalie, our team manager, for treating all the boys to Easter eggs!

This week’s shoutouts:
🥕 Ollie – A fantastic all-round session, especially in defence. His confidence has really grown over the last few weeks and his effort chasing back was brilliant.

🥕 Ned – Only with us a short time but already settled in perfectly. Great running, sharp footwork, and pulled plenty of tags today. Always listening and getting involved!

🥕 Freddie – Really impressing in the practice games. Quick off the line in defence, strong passing, and always tuned in to the coaches.

Huge well done to Ollie, Ned & Freddie!
