The Mitchell Centre

It’s been a really busy week 📈

The guys are working over time to get the centre ready to open 🤩

Lots of flooring and painting 👌

Summer holidays here we come ☀️

Today we had the pleasure of showing some of the trustees from the James Reckitt Charity around both the Vulcan Centre and the Mitchell Centre 🤝 To explain about the work we do and to talk about the plans we have 🗣️

We were joined by Ward Councilor Kassim who has been working with us to get the centre back open as soon as possible 🙏 and by one of the team from Hull City Council who has been supporting the modernisation process 👌

We are really looking forward to opening the centre in summer ☀️

We’re proud to introduce the Mitchell Centre — a space with a rich history and an even bigger future. Thanks to a significant investment from Hull City Council, the essential infrastructure works are now complete, laying the groundwork for what’s to come.🧱

The Vulcan Centre will now be continuing the journey, bringing the building back to life and transforming it into a space the whole community can be proud of.🤝

We don’t have a confirmed opening date just yet, but we are working on it and will keep you updated on here.🙏
