We offer multi-sport and recreational activities for people of all ages plus lots of community projects to support local people Mission Statement:

Friends of Pelican Park operate an open door policy for the benefit of all residents living within and around the City Of Hull. We encourage membership of the Club regardless of ethnicity, gender, social, sexual or religious preference. Through the power of sport we will contribute to raising aspirations, motivate & inspire, remove barriers in encouraging everyone to work together. In partnership with the local community we will continue to deliver a high quality sporting activity that further promotes health & wellbeing in people of all ages. Pelican Rangers U10s Tigers played their very first fixture as a team away against Tickton Merlins U10s.

It was a tough game from start to finish, but that did not stop the team from giving it their very best effort. Despite facing a strong opposition, the Tigers showed great determination, teamwork and a fantastic attitude throughout the match.

For many of the players, it was their first experience of competitive football together, and they can all be proud of the commitment and enthusiasm they showed from the first whistle to the last. Every player worked hard, supported one another and represented Pelican Rangers with pride.

A huge well done to all the players on their debut, and thank you to the coaches, parents and supporters for their encouragement.

This is just the beginning of an exciting journey for the U10s Tigers, and we look forward to seeing their continued progress throughout the season.

Pelican Rangers U7s played their first game of the season today at Pelican Park, hosting Thorngumbald Barons U7s in the new 3v3 format.

What started as a promising afternoon turned into a lovely day for football, with plenty of smiles, energy and enthusiasm on display from all the young players. The new format encouraged lots of touches on the ball, and both teams produced some excellent football throughout the session.

It was fantastic to see the players enjoying the game, showing confidence, learning new skills and having fun in such a friendly atmosphere. The effort and excitement from everyone involved highlighted exactly what grassroots football is all about.

A big well done to all the players from both teams for a great afternoon of football and to the coaches, volunteers and families for their support.

Pelican Rangers U10s played their first fixture of the season today at Pelican Park, taking on Cottingham Rangers U10s in an exciting season opener.

With great conditions for football, both teams put on an excellent display of effort, enthusiasm and sportsmanship. Pelican Rangers started brightly, showing plenty of confidence on the ball and a willingness to play attacking football.

There were some fantastic passages of play throughout the match, with the players demonstrating great teamwork, determination and skill. As a first game of the season, it was a brilliant opportunity for the squad to put their hard work in training into practice and begin building momentum for the season ahead.

Parents player of the match this week was Mikolaj. His tackling at the back was excellent and read the game really well making a number of interceptions. As the games went on he also grew in confidence bringing the ball out from the back to help drive us up the pitch.

Coaches player of the match was Taylor. Taylor was solid at the back to today. He tackled anything that went near him and on the ball really got his head up and played the simple passes. He also did alot of the unglamorous work covering for his teammates when they went forward.

A big well done to all the players from both teams for their commitment and positive attitude. Plenty of positives to take from the game as Pelican Rangers look forward to the challenges ahead.

Pelican Rangers U13s kicked off their season at Pelican Park today, welcoming Hall Road Rangers U13s for what turned out to be an entertaining encounter.

The conditions were perfect for football and helped produce a great performance from the home side. There were some fantastic skills on display, with the boys moving the ball confidently and showing plenty of creativity throughout the game.

From the first whistle, Pelican Rangers played with energy, determination and teamwork, creating some excellent passages of play and working hard for each other across the pitch. It was a strong start to the new season, with plenty of positives to take away and build on in the weeks ahead.

Well done to all the players from both teams for their effort, attitude and sportsmanship. ⚽💙💛

October Half Term Camps are now OPEN for bookings! 🎃

Looking for something fun for the kids this half term? Join us at Pelican Park Community Trust for a week packed with Halloween fun, games and loads of different activities! 🦇

Our camps are for ages 6-14 and you can book individual days for just £15 per day.

📅 Monday 26th – Friday 30th October
⏰ Drop off: 9:30–10am | Pick up: 3–3:30pm
🥪 Please bring a packed lunch

We’ll be doing lots of different activities throughout the week, so there’ll be plenty to keep everyone active, entertained and having fun with friends! ⚽🎨👻
