Today saw us swap out our lunchtime pit practice sessions for the Sandbach High School and Sixth Form College Enrichment Fair! Thank you so much to those that visited our stand and picked up an application form! Who knows, with reaction times like that, we may have just found our next group of drivers….!🏁🏎️🏎️

It wouldn’t be a Summer Holiday without Dylan & Basil’s annual little vacation to our offsite garage!!🏝️😎
It’s been a productive weekend replacing the plywood at the back of our trailer and fitting some new battery connectors to hopefully prevent the issues we experienced at Blyton!
Big thank you to Jane for fuelling the team with plenty of tea and ice creams (the engineering essentials of course!!!!☕️🍦)

Today truly had it all - relentless heat, blown fuses, issues with battery terminals, couple trips on the recovery vehicle and a puncture thrown in for good measure! But somehow, amongst this chaos, we managed to sneak ourselves onto the podium in 3rd Place! 🎉😀

We thoroughly enjoyed spending yesterday demonstrating how we make a wheel and showing prospective students what fun we have with the Design & Technology department! Happy International Women in Engineering Day🥳🥳
With only 16.5% of engineers in the UK being female*, we are proud to play a small part in helping to drive change by inspiring the next generation of female engineers.
We are extremely grateful to all that help us pave the way for an inclusive environment; from our teachers, volunteers and alumni to industry experts such as Paul from Bentley Motors who visited the team last week. A fantastic evening and hopefully the beginning of an exciting partnership for us to create more opportunities for a future in STEM!

A special evening tonight as CAUC alumni Cerys & Darcey joined us to assist with our Bedford Race Prep! With both now working for Bentley Motors, we were lucky enough to end the night having a closer look at one of their latest models - equipped with massaging seats no less!! Yesterday saw us kick start our 2026 season as we headed to Mallory Park Circuit for a day of fun with Greenpower Education Trust! From broken gearing systems to 3rd place podiums - it certainly had it all!
We’d like to say a huge thank you to Sandbach Ladies Circle for sponsoring our race entrance and to Sandbach Tangent for their donation of four helmets (which look super smart, even if we do say so ourselves!🤣). We certainly would not be able to continue racing without your continued, generous support!
