Toubkal is the highest mountain in North Africa, sitting at 4,167m in Morocco’s High Atlas Mountains 🏔️🇲🇦

We are about to head out to Morocco to start this trek this week with a group of local ladies that completed Everest Base Camp with us before. Toubkal is a brilliant one for anyone wanting to experience some altitude trekking without taking on a long expedition. You still need a good level of fitness, proper kit and the right mindset, but that is what makes it such a rewarding trip.

It is also a great stepping stone for bigger adventures like K2 Base Camp, which are coming up on the Impact Ascents calendar next year.

One week until we’re back on Mount Toubkal 🇲🇦⛰️

The countdown is properly on now, and this trip is going to be a good one. Joining us in Morocco is a group of local Eden ladies who actually trekked to Everest Base Camp with Impact Ascents earlier this year. Now they’re getting the boots back on and taking on Toubkal together.

Bags are being sorted, kit is being checked and before long we’ll be heading into the Atlas Mountains for another challenge as a team.

It’s always great seeing people come back for another adventure after completing a trek with me. Next stop, Morocco 🇲🇦

What’s on your mountain bucket list? ⛰️👣

Maybe it’s Everest Base Camp, Mount Toubkal, the Alps or somewhere you’ve had saved for years but haven’t quite committed to yet. These trips have always been about more than reaching a summit or ticking somewhere off a list. It’s the training beforehand, the people you meet, the tough days, early starts and everything you experience along the way.

We’ve still got plenty of adventure ahead in 2026, but we’re also starting to look towards 2027. Keep an eye on our socials for our upcoming 2027 treks and expeditions.

Your bucket list trip might be closer than you think. 🏔️

Island Peak and Lobuche | 2nd November 2026 🏔️

Ready to take the next step beyond trekking? Island Peak and Lobuche offer the chance to experience mountaineering in the Himalayas, taking on two incredible objectives that will test you both physically and mentally.

It takes training, preparation and commitment, but that’s exactly what makes an expedition like this so worthwhile. For me, it’s never just about reaching the summit. It’s the early starts, tough days, team around you and everything you experience along the way.

If you want to finish 2026 having taken on something genuinely challenging, this could be the goal to start working towards.

Everest Base Camp | October 2026 🏔️

October is getting closer, and so is our next Everest Base Camp adventure. Over 16 days, we’ll travel from Kathmandu into the Khumbu, trekking through the Himalayas, staying in local tea houses and making our way towards one of the most iconic places in the world.

You don’t need previous mountaineering experience, but you do need to be ready to train, prepare and challenge yourself along the way. We’ve still got space to join the team, but with October now not far away, it’s time to start turning the idea of Everest Base Camp into an actual plan.

You can keep saying “one day” or you can give yourself a date to work towards. 🏔️

Most of these trips start with someone thinking about it for months, sometimes years, before finally deciding to go for it. Pick the mountain, choose the date and give yourself something to train towards. The fitness, preparation and confidence all come with putting the work in beforehand.

What if your next trip was more than just a holiday? 🌍

A trekking adventure gives you something to aim for, something to train for and something you will talk about long after you are home. Morocco is next for us with a Toubkal trek, then we have Island Peak and Lobuche coming up in November and Everest Base Camp in October.

These trips are about getting outdoors, meeting good people and seeing places that really make you feel like you have achieved something. You do not need to be a professional climber, just willing to put the work in and enjoy the journey. This could be the year you do it.

Next Up: Mount Toubkal | 25th September 🇲🇦

Our next Toubkal trip is coming up this September, and we’ve still got some spaces available. Standing at 4,167m, Mount Toubkal is the highest peak in North Africa and a brilliant challenge if you want to experience high-altitude trekking without committing to a longer expedition. You’ll experience the Atlas Mountains, Berber villages and mountain trails before taking on the summit itself. It’s a challenge that will push you, but with some training and preparation beforehand, it’s a really achievable goal.

Everest Base Camp | October 2026 🏔️

If Everest Base Camp has been sitting on your list for a while, this could be the trip that finally gets you there. Over 16 days, we’ll travel from Kathmandu into the Khumbu and make our way through the Himalayas, trekking between mountain villages, staying in local tea houses and taking on the trail towards Base Camp together.

You don’t need to be an experienced mountaineer to join us. Come prepared to train, challenge yourself and experience a part of the world you won’t forget in a hurry.

Another successful Toubkal trip is completed! We had some great weather once again and the team were brilliant throughout. Toubkal is definitely the perfect trek to get you out into the mountains and tick off a 4000m peak. We’re back out in Morocco again later this month for yet another Toubkal trip and as always we’re looking forward to it.
