Last coloured belt grading was eventful for Kirkintilloch Tukido Club with three of our students achieving their next grades following fantastic performances!

From left to right:
Gary Brown has earned his 3rd Ji - Blue Belt / Red tags.
Angus McMillan has earned his 1st Ji - Red Belt / Black tags.
David Marshall has earned his 4th Ji - Blue belt.

All three have put on quite a show with fantastically dynamic performance. Each have performed their sparring forms with a great deal of technical proficiency, showed off their sparring skills and absolutely smashed through all of the power tests.

Watch this space for more progress of these talented individuals!

BLACK BELT PROMOTION! Massive congratulations to Paul McArdle, who has recently passed his Black Belt Grading! Last Sunday (14th September), Paul was presented with his new belt, uniform and the grading certificate by Grandmaster Teh himself.

This is a well deserved achievement and Paul has put in a lot of work and fantastic effort to earn his black belt!

Many students and instructors from other clubs have come to support and celebrate this great occasion, and it was an absolute pleasure having Paul's father - Ardle, who has come over all the way from Ireland for the occasion!

Well done to Paul! We are looking forward to seeing him training with the black belt ranks. 🥊🥊

Fantastic classes are being delivered by Grandmaster Teh, the Founder of Tukido and Chief Instructor at the Kirkintilloch Tukido Club. The wealth of his experience based on decades of practice makes his time with students invaluable.

All classes include a thorough warmup with cardio exercises, core workout and stretching. That is followed up with technical drills of all striking techniques and sparring forms (challenfing combination patterns). No class is complete without a good few rounds of free sparring of course! 🥊

We offer a free trial lesson for anyone wishing to experience Tukido. You don't need to be fit - that is also what we help with! Book your free trial lesson with a quick booking form: https://bit.ly/tukido_trial_lesson
