Started off the week volunteering at the Cancer Research UK, Cancer Research UK Race for Life event at .
Wednesday out with Police Scotland at the helipad. An exciting opportunity to see the Police Helicopter up close.
Thursday was an extremely early start, out on deployment with all the emergency services on a "secret mission". That's all we can say about that one, accept H was absolutely BUZZING once she was finished.
Once again, she's extremely lucky to get these opportunities.

Heather was back out yesterday volunteering alongside Police Scotland, joined by the Glasgow Commonwealth 2026 mascot, Finnie the Unicorn — such a brilliant atmosphere and great to see so many smiles! 🙌
It’s been a really busy start of the year, which is why there haven’t been many posts — but it’s all been for good reason, working hard behind the scenes and out in the community where it matters most.

When the dream turns to a nightmare.
Worked so hard, for years, to achieve my level 6 in skiing (final level). Sold my “pre-loved” items to fund the £1600 school ski trip to France. Was so excited to gain experience on the snow and have quality time with school friends however this all came crashing down when, within the first hour of the first lesson, I damaged my leg.
When things don’t go to plan — whether it’s a setback, a disappointment, or an injury — it can knock the wind out of you. But resilience, a bit of grit, and a sense of humour help you adapt, keep moving, and find a new way forward. Stick with it, and success often shows up when you least expect it.

New Year 2026 🎉
New year, new smiles, new reasons to cheer,
Fresh hopes, bright moments, and good times here.
May laughter be loud and worries be few,
With happy surprises in all that you do.
Here’s to big dreams and chances anew,
To kindness, courage, and skies so blue.
Wishing joy, success, and plenty to mix —
Happy New Year 2026!
Heather had the most amazing day at the Good Morning Britain 10 year anniversary celebrations.
She's a very lucky girl to get these opportunities.
Thanks to everyone involved at the ITV studios.
