We had three guys out at the Empire Grappling Scottish open today, .kelt , and

Santino took two wins by submission to win gold in his Gi category, and Yeray starting strong with a submission win then a loss in the final for his Gi category to take home a silver.

In the no Gi categories, Santino picked up a bronze as did Lewis.

Congrats to the guys involved, lots of rounds of good experience and things to improve on for next time!

What a great fight by our Chloe last night, she put in a mature performance on the big stage at Victory Promotions.
She took control of the centre of the ring from the start till the very end of the fight. It was a close back n forth fight, with Chloe getting stronger as the fight went on and the final round being her biggest- we felt she scored better in the exchanges, but in a 3 round fight things are a bit different than a 5 rounder! Lessons are learned & we will not leave it to the judges in the future! This was Chloes first fight in the newly formed 47.6kg weight division and you could see the difference of not giving away weight on fight day, what a display of Muay Thai from both girls. A big well done to Abbie, her and Chloe now sit at 1 Win each , so no doubt they will meet again in the future.

The -47.6k Division is on notice, we are coming for you 👊

A great night of fights was had at Destination Fight Night up in Dundee, a big well done to Stuart and his Team, we look forward to the next one!
First up we had our baby faced assassin Blair Thompson, this young gun is still very new to this game, but he takes everything in his stride & delivers each and every time.
Blair took control of the fight from the off, we expected a quick start from the HMAG lad, so Blair got straight into the action with lots of lovely tech on display for the first 3 rds, however I told him before he went back out for the 4th, ‘I don’t want an easy points win in this fight, I want you to stop him’. Job done near straight away, he turned right through with his kick & caught Buster clean across the forearm and he was unable to continue- thankfully we now know its not broken and we wish him a speedy recovery.

Next up Jamie McKendry, he has worked his arse of this past year, always fighting that bit too heavy or giving away experience, this fight however was a fight both teams really thought we could take, we all love a good 50/50 war, both lads were back n forth the full fight, each stealing the points in every other exchange, what a crowd pleaser! Jamie just seemed to be taking the cleaner points in the clinch battles tho, and scored well with his teeps, clean kicks and solid defence. It was a very close fight however Jamie got the nod & M-Mag now seems to have started a trend of us coming out on top in very close fights.
Well done to both our lads, 2 more wins for M-Mag this year. As always Iam grateful for the Team I have around me.
