Well what can I say,
Iam so proud of each and everyone of our Team, All our fighters leveled up big time on Saturday & we showed everyone in attendance & all watching from around the World who we are.
Everyone of our fighters again laid it all on the line & went to war, all came through the trenches & all out adults took the Wins, with young Cameron taking a draw in a rematch from getting beat 2 weeks ago.
First up Jamie Mckendry , he put on a master class performance, definitely his best to date, a performance we all know he should be producing in every fight, outstanding display of technical muay thai 👏
Next up young Blair, stepping up to A class on 4 weeks notice when his 2nd C Class fight was called off, I know what the majority of coaches & fighters were thinking from across the UK when this fight was released, most never gave Blair a chance, 'lamb to the slaughter' i heard, however i see this kid on a daily, for 18 months he has trained every morning with Cammy & Rhona, and every night when iam in, he has trained like a Pro for all that time.
That was his 7th fight in less than a year & he levels up everytime. We knew it was a big step up but when I suggested to Rhona and then Cammy about the fight there was no doubt in all our 3 replies 'he can win that fight'. My only concern was if there would be a big difference in 'Man Strengh' however Blair eat some heavy shots in there, Calum smashed him with some big elbows & Blair did not flinch or faulter. Blair grew into the fight, after the 1st I had to tell him he was giving Calum too much respect, he had to start pushing the pace & let his shots go, the 2nd & 3rd round he was absolutely amazing, sublime to watch, nothing fazes him atall, he can take a shot thats for sure! now that he has a big target on his shoulders we just need to add a little bit of malice into his armory- watch this space.
Next up we had Kyle, who took the fight on short notice, however hes always ready, the short notice actually helped, as Kyle is an over thinker. 2/3 week fight camp was perfect. He went in with one thing only on his mind, he was not leaving it to the judges again, this was actually their 3rd fight, we think he one the first 2, so there was no way Kyle was leaving that to the judges, he looked like a man on a mission in there, he was possessed, it was kill or be killed & he was ready for a war.
Another best performance to date & a big scalp taken.
It was a worry to see Reece being taken away , even if it was only just a precaution, so when he arrived back just in perfect time for his dad's last dance it was a relief to see him back in the building🙏

M-MAGs most decorated fighter, our Rhona, against there is no easy fights for Rhona, at her level it has been a task to keep finding new opponents, however with her recently dropping down a weigh we now have more options. Clementine Eggs is a solid powerful fighter, she winds everything into her shots, we knew she had dynamite in her hands as she stopped & retired her last opponent who was the UK no1 at the time, however when she added they power kicks in the mix too its was another night in the trenches for our Rhona, although during the fight you would've noticed the kicks having effect, before the end of the show though you could see the effect they had with Rhona hobbling around. Rhona got cut in the second, a solid elbow and what a cut it was too, it got dealt with and now it was time to step it up, no way a cut can take away a decision against us again, Rhona took this fight by the scruff of the neck & pushed the pace, used her nexet 2/3 gears & started to out score her opponent with teeps -pushing her off balance, unanswered body kicks and then her dominant chinch work.
Her vast amount of ring time can push her through any circumstance, we adapt & concur to win the fight.
Another solid performance for the Pride of Scotland - Rhona Walker, that now cements her back in tonthe no 1 rank at her new weight, Rhona had been no1 for around 5 years out of the last 7??? Maybe its time for her to start being recognized & given some credit where its due down South, where theres always a more popular English UK fighter of the year.
A big thanks to all my Team on the night, but a special big thanks to Liam McKendry for having to take on the extra load, we were spread a bit thin at times, but we got there in the end, I appreciate you Liam, thanks alot big man x
