Kirtlington Park Polo Club Kirtlington Park Polo Club - This Oxfordshire based club welcomes EVERYONE to come and join us.

Set within the beautiful Kirtlington Estate, Kirtlington Park Polo Club was originally founded in 1926 after a former inhabitant of the Argentine, Major Deed, bought polo ponies to school in the grounds of Kirtlington Park and persuaded the late Mr Hugh Budgett, who had become the new owner of the park in 1922, to start playing. The club was maintained until the beginning of the Second World War w

hen the ground was cultivated as part of the ‘Dig for Victory’ campaign. Mr Alan Budgett, son of Mr Hugh Budgett, reopened the club in 1954 and added a second ground. The club has continued to flourish and today we boast six grounds, around 40 tournaments a year ranging from -2 to 12 goal, comfortable spectator facilities and polo instruction. We warmly welcome all visitors - come and enjoy polo, beautiful ponies and the best of the British countryside.

What a night! 🥂✨

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped us celebrate 100 years of Kirtlington Park Polo Club in style. And, of course, a massive shout-out to our amazing Social Committee for putting together such a fantastic evening.

From the dance floor to the last round at the bar, it’s fair to say a brilliant time was had by all... although judging by a few faces the next morning, some people celebrated the centenary a little more enthusiastically than others! 🍾😂

The teams will be auctioned at the KPPC Centenary Ball on 27 June 2026 as part of our 100 year fundraising endeavours.

Ticket sales from the day of the game, will go to our chosen charity.

Starting bid for each team is £10,000. ⭐

✨A Century of Moments, A Future of Memories✨

In continuation of our centenary birthday celebrations, we were delighted to reconnect with 10-goaler Adolfo Cambiaso, who used to frequent KPPC back in the day.

One of those memorable occasions saw him playing for the Prince of Wales Trophy alongside His Royal Highness King Charles, right here on our very own Ground 1.
