Egerton FC are pleased to announce that The Joshua Tree will be our Charity partner for 2026, and we hope to help them raise awareness as they celebrate their 20th Anniversary year.
The Joshua Tree supports families when a child receives a cancer diagnosis. The ripple effect on the family is immense and they recognise the emotional, physical, and practical challenges that can leave parents exhausted and siblings feeling lost.
Providing holistic, wrap-around support for every member of the family—children, parents, siblings, and carers, The Joshua Tree offers tailored services like counselling, therapy, educational advocacy, and wellbeing programs, ensuring families never have to walk this difficult path alone.
Most recently they were the extremely excited recipients of a DIY SOS: Children in Need Special which is airing this week. The episode will feature the massive transformation of The Joshua Tree, with a project that nearly doubled the size of the facilities, adding a gym, therapy and counselling rooms, play areas, and accommodation for families. The build was made possible by hundreds of volunteers and local tradespeople.
Watch Today: Thursday, November 13, 2025, at 9–10 pm on BBC1
Two of our Committee members visited the new facilities a couple of weeks ago and were completely blown away by the warm and tranquil environment and their wonderfully nurturing team.
If you or anyone you know could benefit from The Joshua Tree’s amazing support and resources, please contact them [email protected].

The U17s Ladies also kept up their strong start, following last weekend’s 5–2 home victory against Oxton with a superb 6–0 win away at Frodsham, making it 2 wins from 2.

⚽️ Egerton Girls are back!

First matches: This Saturday for U8–U16, with some age groups getting time on the new 3G pitch at Moss Farm.
Where we play
U8–U12: Central venues — mostly Moss Farm, with some fixtures at Hartford (about 5 minutes from Moss Farm).
