Knutsford Amateur Swimming Club - KASC Providing development of young swimmers, offering competitive swimming in a fun environment Swimmers learn advanced skills and techniques.

Knutsford Vikings are a well respected community swimming club based in Knutsford Cheshire. We offer further development of young swimmers who have completed NPTS Stage 7. Once these are in place, the opportunity to compete is available for those who want it. Our swimmers have the opportunity to race in friendly internal galas such as the Point Score and Club Championships, represent the club against other clubs in team events, compete in open meets and aim to qualify and compete at County, Regional and National level. Racing in competition allows swimmers to put the techniques and improvements to fitness into practice and see how much they have improved against themselves. Swimming is a great way to keep active, fit and healthy whilst enhancing well being. The club also offer an expanding social program and very often friendships are formed for life. Safeguarding of all members is high on our list at Vikings. All of our poolside staff and most of our admin staff have had Safeguarding training and have DBS clearance. Our club also complies with the high standards set out by the governing body of swimming (Swim England) by achieving and maintaining the 'Swim21' quality accreditation mark. The club is based at: Knutsford Leisure Centre, Westfield Drive, Knutsford, Cheshire, WA16 0BL. To find out more, visit our webpage or email: [email protected]

🏊‍♂️ Club Champs 🏊‍♀️

A huge well done to all our swimmers who took part in the Club Championships last weekend! We had the highest number of swimmers taking part across the three Club Champs I’ve been part of, with around 75% of the club competing! 👏

There was some superb swimming for this early in the season, with lots of PBs achieved and some swimmers already hitting County and Regional qualifying times. Fantastic work! 💪

We now look forward to the Club Presentation, where we’ll celebrate and award all the results. 🏆 If you haven’t booked your tickets yet, there are still tickets available on Swim Manager.

A huge thank you to all the parent helpers who supported the event. There are far too many to mention individually, but it was especially encouraging to see so many parents helping out for the first time. Your support is hugely appreciated! ❤️

Now, it’s on to North Mids this weekend. Good luck to all our swimmers taking part — swim fast and enjoy it!

Go Vikings! 🏊‍♂️

Today we'd like to wish former Viking Adam Bradley the very best of luck as he begins his Commonwealth Games campaign in the 100m Breaststroke.

Adam started his swimming journey with Knutsford Vikings before progressing through the performance pathway, and we're incredibly proud to see him representing on such a big stage.

Good luck Adam! Everyone at Vikings will be cheering you on! 💙💛

What a fantastic afternoon we had today at our end-of-season trip to Manley Mere!

It was brilliant to see so many of our swimmers enjoying themselves on the Aqua Park, supporting each other (and occasionally pushing each other off the inflatables! 😄).

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped make it such a fun day, and for celebrating everything they've achieved this season.

Good luck to everyone swimming in Liverpool tomorrow
GO VIKINGS! 💙🏊

A huge congratulations to former Viking Adam Bradley on qualifying for both the Commonwealth Games and the European Championships this summer, representing Ireland! 🇮🇪

What an incredible achievement from Adam, everyone at Vikings will be cheering you on every step of the way this summer.
As if that wasn’t enough, Adam also broke the Irish Junior Record for the 100m Breaststroke earlier this spring. Truly sensational!

And while we’re celebrating former Vikings, a massive well done to Tom and Will O’Brien, who have once again qualified for British Nationals this year, alongside our current Vikings Ella, Tylia and Tatiana (representing SM), as mentioned earlier. Amazing achievements all round!

It’s shaping up to be a very exciting summer for the club, and we couldn’t be prouder of everything our swimmers are accomplishing.

Keep chasing those times, working hard and developing your skills, you never know how far swimming could take you! It could be you one day.
