Today we hosted New Century Bowmen for our annual friendly! Well done to New century for the win as ever it was lovely to see you guys.

**WA720 Date change**
You’re hearing this first - North Cheshire Bowmen are changing the date of our outdoor competition for 2026. As we are spending time over the winter and early outdoor season making lots of improvements to our club and outdoor facilities we have chosen to move the date of our outdoor competition to 11th and 12th July to give our volunteers a bit of a break. Following the success of this year’s format, it will be a Double Double WA720. More info will be released early 2026.

We are sad to announce the passing of Wendy Hodkinson on the 12th October. For those of you who didn’t know Wendy she and her late husband Bill were a big part of North Cheshire Bowmen and the archery community for many years. She would always turn up, until recently due to bad health, to hand out the monthly medals rain or shine and provide food after the Bill Hodkinson shoot. For those of you who did know Wendy we can all agree she had great enthusiasm for both life and the sport and will never be forgotten. The club would not be where it is today without her and for that we are forever grateful.
The funeral will take place Monday 10th November at Manchester Crematorium, Chorlton and after at the GMP Police Sports and Social Club at Hough End, Chorlton.

We are looking forward to hosting the 5 Counties this weekend. As usual we will have the BBQ out selling hot food, hot and cold drinks and most importantly cake! We just can’t promise the good weather. 🤞
